capital city Edinburgh to the East, in less than an hour. By train, links are
similarly good, with mainline trains on the West Coast mainline frequent, as
well as half hourly trains to Edinburgh and beyond. For longer excursions,
Glasgow Airport, a ten minute drive from the city centre offers international
air travel on a variety of carriers.
Living in Glasgow offers a great range of options. The city itself has seen
the development of new riverside apartments as well as more traditional
dwellings. The West End offers opulent Georgian and Victorian houses and flats
with plenty of open space whereas the East End is on the rise, particularly
